Gouging of my repair costs not only on the labor needed but also on charging more than the toyota MSRP price for the part. Took my avalon in for a door lock fix. it needed an actuator. They quoted $113 and 2 hours labor and told me that the whole door had to be rewired and scheduled the work for when the part came in. Got on the web and found out that the Toyota MSRP was only $101 (so they added 11% to the MSRP) also the web sites (one toyota dealer in Austin texas ) had the same OEM part for $76. I checked how long it should take and labor rates for the area and the web said one hour and there was no rewiring neeeded to replace the actuator just removal of the door panel and plug it in. I called the service director who told me that "we can charge whatever the market will bear " and that it takes two hours to remove this door panel. He also said that every toyota dealer in memphis are charging more than the Toyota MSRP for parts but when I checked two out on the phone they quoted MSRP as did the dealer in chicago and also in Nashville TN. I complained to toyota 800 customer service number in Torrrance CA and they told me to go to the dealers customer reelationship contact and gave me a case number. I left a message for her and 10 days later am still waiting for a call back. meanwhile the assistant to the service director called me and reduced the cost of the repair down to the MSRP and the time to 1.5 hours labor. The director never called me back as he promised and it took a call to toyota to change his arrogant attitude on this repair. I am still awaiting a call from the customer relationship manager who is supposed to follow up on all cases.

I received a letter from Wolfchase Toyota of Memphis, Tennessee stating that they were having a 2007 exclusive market event and that all cars were priced significantly lower than normal and that each price would be clearly marked on each car. Wolfchase Toyota's letter further claimed to give recipients a free ($4 value) ice cooler. When I went to the dealership they threw my letter at the door and sent two sales persons with me to show me some cars. These salesman would only give me the sticker price when asked. When I asked about the promised reduced pricing everybody started acting stupid, as if they had no idea what I was talking about.

I feel like these tactics are a cheap way to scam persons to frequent your business. I was becoming furious with the way they were acting, and brought that letter back to the salesperson's attention. The Wolfchase Toyota salesperson went to his manager and they gave me a 'special' quote of $200 off of the sticker price.

Needless to say I was unhappy with their deceptive letter and dishonest sales tactics. The salesperson next tried to get me into negotiations, even though the letter had promised quite clearly "No Negotiations."

The sales person then took me to the sales manager who simply insulted me and further implied that I was the one who was attempting to trick them.

Wolfchase Toyota of Memphis, TN sucks!

I purchased a car from Wolfchase Toyota on September 9, 2009. I was sold a varity of options including a Lo Jack Recovery System. I live in Mississippi and was never told by the finance manager John McBay that it did not cover MS. A few days before it was installed I call Jerry Becker the manager who set up the appointment to have it installed inquiring about the coverage area because I heard it did not cover MS. He assured me it did. It was installed on September 11 and we received the paperwork. It does not cover the state of MS. I called the dealership and requested a refund, Mr McBay said he would check into it. I have been given the run around until September 29th a Paul Becker called and asked what happened I told him and he said he would investigate. He called today and said Mr. McBay told him he had informed us of the non coverage in MS. This is a lie. Why in he world would I pay for something that has no benefit? I called Lo Jack and they said the dealership should not have sold me this product. I just threw away my money. I would appreciate it if you would check into this dealership. It wasn't the first lie I was told with this transaction. I would highly discourage anyone from buying a new or used car or truck at Wolfchase Toyota in Memphis Tennessee!

Purchased a Tacoma, (it was mine) paperwork in progress the dealer sold it out from under me and could not have cared less. Didn't have another and wasn't interested in finding another one. I did not do business with this scum bag dealer.

The Sales Person at Wolf chase Toyota Mr Amar Bajwa had committed to us at the Time of Purchase that the dealership would wash the car free for 3 years from the date of purchase. The dealership did wash the car for 6 times since the time we bought the car in October 2010. On Tuesday September 13th 2011 when we went to the dealership for a car wash the Sales person Mr. Amar Bajwa turn around and said that the dealership cannot wash the car anymore as per the instruction from a Manager. W hen asked why was that he was so rude and used profanity while talking to us. We were treated very badly by the dealership staff and it was disgusting. We are a very loyal Toyota Customer group and hence forth we have decided that we would not go in for any Toyota Vehicles in the near future. We would kindly request you to look into this matter very seriously and take proper actions. Especially using profanity with the customers. If we do not get a favourable resolution we will be forced to hire an attorney as there are other toyota users who have undergone the same kind of problems.

Having a MR2 can cause all kinds of trouble, but after driving the car across the country i noticed the rear of the car felt unstable at 30 mph to 80 mph. I usually do my own maintenance but i was very busy unpacking and such and decided on Wolfchase Toyota for my service inspection. I took the car in and told them that the RIGHT REAR of the car felt like it was stepping out at speed. They told me that a 100 point something inspection would be needed on the suspension that would let them look at EVERY suspension component. After one day of being in service i called for an update , they said they found no problems. I drove out there to take them on a test drive so they could FEEL the problem. I successfully recreated the stepping out on the freeway three times with their " head mechanic ". He promptly informed me it was the Clutch going out. " Wait did you just say clutch??!?! " was my response. After a few questions about his toyota experience and mentioning to him that i had just replaced the clutch and it was working fine he took the car back in for ANOTHER inspection , he again came up clean , no problems. I paid 115 dollars and took the car home , nearly wrecking the car because of the suspension problem on the way there. Frustrated i jacked the car up , looked underneath the RIGHT REAR like i mentioned to them and lo and behold the lower control arm bolt sticking out about 3 inches with just a few threads holding it in. A socket and ratchet later , viola! no more suspension problems. Toyota did issue me a refund but never explained to me why their head mechanic didn't find such an obvious problem. So i don't use their service dept any more and don't recommend you do.
